Physical and chemical properties:

White crystals; Relative density 1.619. Soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and acetone.

Mainly used for wood, paper, fabric, for fire prevention agent, also used as a fire retardant coating with PPD, but also for the printing on the plate making and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

In food industry, it used for fermentation agents, nutrients. N & P is also used as fertilizer.
